Fine Linen Bunwarmer
Made for many years by a group of women artisans in the Dutch Antilles, this piece is made by the painstaking technique of drawnwork. This technique begins with the highest quality linen fabric and then the threads are pulled or drawn to create lacy patterns. Embroidery is added over and around the drawn threads to create many different designs, often adding small areas of color into the overall design. Note the word "Saba" which is embroidered into the patterns on the sides of the cloth. Table runners, purses, centerpieces, and handkerchiefs are also available. $79.50. Order HERE.
